This product is really great for DVD/CD collectors or multimedia collector. The HDD media player can accomodate up 160 GB of multimedia files, so the original DVD's or CD's can be kept and hidden untouched and they can be truly scratch free for long long time as long as they copied and saved the file in the HDD media player. The sound quality is just great, it can be plugged directly to TV and to most audio video equipment in the house as well. The video quality is superbly clear compared to most DVD Player available in the market. Using the HDD media player in the car/van/bus is excellent also, by just plugging into the cigarette lighter power adapter makes it one stop machine for entertainment need of vehicle passengers. To enjoy the Video, a LCD PC monitor is a good accompaniment for the device, the HDD Media Player has VGA out for the LCD Monitor. To power the LCD Monitor a 12/24 Volt to 220/110Volt power inverter is needed. Having the remote control you can enjoy timeless of multimedia entertainment.
