Unfortunately, the watch gave me readings for my heart rate until I went swimming (which is what I bought it for!) Otherwise, it is a pretty red color and tells the time, but I had to buy a different (more expensive) heart rate monitor to use for swimming. Sorry for the bad news...

The watch is multifunction. It's beautiful. It can measure the heart rate and calorie burned while exercising, which I think is very helpful to my plan for losing weight.
