Module Description

the sensor module has strong adaptability to ambient light. It has a pair of infrared transmitting and receiving tubes. The transmitting tube emits infrared rays with a certain frequency. When the detection direction encounters an obstacle (reflective surface), the infrared rays are reflected back and received by the receiving tube. After being processed by the comparator circuit, the green indicator light will light up. At the same time, the signal output interface outputs a digital signal (a low-level signal), and the detection distance can be adjusted through the potentiometer knob, the effective distance range is 2~30cm, and the working voltage is 3.3V-5V. The detection distance of the sensor can be adjusted by the potentiometer, with small interference, easy assembly, easy to use and other characteristics, can be widely used in robot obstacle avoidance, obstacle avoidance car, assembly line counting and black and white line tracking and many other occasions.

Module parameter description

• 1 When the module detects an obstacle signal in front, the green indicator light on the circuit board will light up, and the OUT port will continuously output a low-level signal. The detection distance of the module is 2~30cm and the detection angle is 35 °. The detection distance can be adjusted by potentiometer. Adjust the potentiometer clockwise to increase the detection distance. Adjust the potentiometer counterclockwise to reduce the detection distance.

• 2, the sensor active infrared reflection detection, so the reflectivity and shape of the target is the key to the detection distance. Among them, the black detection distance is small, and the white is large; the small area object distance is small, and the large area distance is large.

• 3. The output port OUT of the sensor module can be directly connected with the IO port of the single chip microcomputer, or it can directly drive a 5V relay; Connection mode: VCC-VCC;GND-GND;OUT-IO

• 4. Comparator using LM393, stable work;

• 5.3-5V DC power supply can be used to supply power to the module. When the power is turned on, the red power indicator light comes on;

• 8. Each module has adjusted the threshold comparison voltage through the potentiometer in the delivery. For non-special circumstances, please do not adjust the potentiometer at will.
